Kitten Heels to the Max!

I’ve always thought of myself as more of a dog person than a cat person… In fact, I’ve always kind of disliked cats.  But then, for some strange reason, that I still can’t explain, I decided to adopt a cat! And at first, it seemed I had made a huge mistake.  My new cat, who I renamed El Guapo, was a total terror!  He’d attack me and husband every time we walked by, he’d scratch and bite every time we tried to touch him or pick him up, and he was fussy, mischievous and an all around pain!
But with some patience, training, and a lot of love and acceptance, El Guapo began to change.  As he got comfortable with us he became more affectionate, and more calm, though he hasn’t lost his cute, playful temperament.  He’s an all around lovely cat to have around these days and, (as you may be able to tell from my Instagram feed) I am a little bit obsessed with him!

So as a recent cat-convert, I find myself gravitating more and more to kitty-themed fashion.  I know I am about 5 years behind the trend, but I can’t help it!  I’ve always loved & secretly wanted these sweet ‘Kitty Flats’ from Charlotte Olympia, but they fall way way waaaay out of my price range.

That’s why when I saw the adorable Kitty Heels from T.U.K Footwear on Modcloth, I threw caution to the win and quickly ordered a pair!  They are so cute, totally comfortable, and made me smile each time I glanced down at them as I wore them at work.
Sometimes a girl just needs some literal kitten heels, ya know?
