Something for the Britannias

Each year, I have the ultimate excuse to get properly dressed up – The BAFTA LA Britannia Awards. This is the main awards event for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in Los Angeles, and serves to honor 6 individuals for remarkable work in film, television and games.  In the past they’ve honored such greats as Ben Kingsley, George Clooney, John Lasseter, Warren Beatty, Helen Bonham Carter and Jeff Bridges, just to name a few!
This year was just as star-studded and inspiring, with Julia Louis Dreyfus, Robert Downey Jr., Emma Watson, Mike Leigh, Mark Ruffalo, and Dame Judi Dench all being honored.  It was thrilling to be in the audience and especially exciting to be wearing a dress from one of my favorite LA-based designers and friend – Bri Seeley.
Bri Seeley’s Eleanor Dress was perfect for a glamourous Hollywood evening – stylish, structured, feminine and functional!  I felt beautiful and totally comfortable throughout the night.  PLUS, this gorgeous gown has pockets!  In my book that makes everything perfect!
Here’s more pictures from the evening and further shenanigans can be seen on my instagram @Firebirdzine.
