If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably know that the boy and I have spent the last week traveling up the eastern coast. We started out in New Orleans and worked our way all the way up to DC, spreading the trip out over ten jam-packed days.
We saw so much and did so much that I actually feel like I need a vacation after my vacation, but it was such a fun adventure filled with so many amazing memories that I’m mostly just sorry that it had to end.
I love road trips. I love seeing the changing landscapes and the totally different towns. I like to imagine what my life would be like if I lived there…What would I do, what would I be, and would I like living there?
Road trips always seem to give me a new perpective on things – A clear vision of just how big and diverse this country is – and a reaffirmed knowledge that things are bigger than me. There is so much out there to see and do and be.
I’ll be sharing the (ridiculous amounts of) photos we took on the trip over the next week or so, so stay tuned to get an inside look at our latest “Big Kettle Drum Road Trip,” so we called it.
