Beauty Marks: Beauty Bash

I’ve decided to start a new feature called Beauty Marks.  Cause why the hell not?
To be honest, I have never been that into makeup, mostly due to laziness.  I hate spending too much time fixing my face and I loath having to wash my face at night.  I am not even all that sure why I resist it, but I do.
But lately, I’ve been noticing that my skin needs a bit more TLC than before.  I guess this is just part of getting old.  So I’ve been taking a bit more time and putting a bit more effort into caring for my skin.   I’ve also started playing more and more with new makeup.  Actually, I’ve been having a great time playing with new blushes, lovely lipsticks and bright eye shadows — It gives me a bit of a boost when I feel like I am putting my best face forward (so to speak.)  So I plan on sharing some of my makeup tips and finds, direct from one girl who doesn’t really like to wear makeup to…well,  you.
So to kick this off, I want to invite you all to a special Beauty Bash, courtesy of Mark and the Slice of Lime Foundation.
From March 26-April 15, all proceeds from anything you buy on Mark’s website (provided you use the link and coupon code below) will go to Slice of Lime Foundation!  Slice of Lime is a wonderful organization my dear friend Lauren started to help raise money and awareness for Leukemia & Lymphoma, so your beauty purchases will benefit a really great and important cause.  Here are some of the products in my shopping cart now…

So what are you waiting for?  Get shopping and let’s all get beautiful!
