Original Owls

My late grandpa liked to collect owls.  And I’m telling you people, he had the ultimate owl collection.  After years of collecting them from all of his travels across the globe, and from getting many of them as birthday and Christmas gifts from friends and family, he had built up a fleet of feathered friends, many of which are now residing in our little nest.

They are such lovely additions to the decor (some are really unusual works of art) as well as valuable mementos of my grandpa and the little things that made him happy.

I also inherited his complete set of all the Harry Potter books, complete with his notes and newspaper clippings about Rowling and her successful series.   I read up through book four way back when there were only 4 books to read, but with this new collection I feel inspired to give the whole series another go round!
